CAST LIST
Liam Hemsworth will be playing Tyler Macfarlane in our production. In the novel, Ty is described as a blonde haired blue eyed, young, attractive and strong male. Liam Hemsworth fits that exact description. He has piercing blue eyes, perfect for this role because Ty’s eyes play a big part in Gemma falling for him. To pull it all together, the rugged look Liam has will allow him to pull of playing the part of a kidnapper quite easily.

Emma Watson was chosen to play the role of Gemma Toombs. She is a young actress that resembles Gemma in many ways. Emma has brown medium length hair just like Gemma and they also have similar skin tones. Emma Watson has played in other movies involving crime. She has prior experience in playing a role where her character is in a tough situation. Emma should be able to play Gemma’s role with no problems. Tina Fey will be playing the role of Gemma’s mother. She resembles a mother in our eyes. Also, she has had a lot of experience playing the part of a mother in her previous films. She has also played in films involving crime such as Date Night, a movie she acted in a few years ago. We believe she is the perfect fit for this role. |
Aaron Eckhart will be playing the role of Gemma’s father. We believe that his face is what comes to mind when reading about him in the novel. He is over 40 years old which is a perfect fit for Gemma’s father. He has been previously involved in film that were based on crime so he already has experience with this type of genre. Aaron has gotten great reviews from his previous movies and we are excited to work with him.
Jamie Lee Curtis has been chosen to play the role of Gemma’s therapist. She has a smart sophisticated look to her that we think matches what the therapist should look like. Jamie has played a therapist in one of her previous films, Freaky Friday so she has experience doing so. She comes into play near the end of the novel when Gemma goes into the hospital. Even though it is a small role we believe that she can take this small role and make it more important in the short time she will be on the screen. |
